Our representative will meet you on arrival and transfer you to the hotel. You have the entire day ahead of you to either explore the Garden City or simply relax (we recommend the former!). There is a lot you can do, and in case you're confused, begin by exploring the city's biggest commercial area, MG Road, and the network of roads around it; it's your perfect introduction to the city. Overnight stay at Bangalore.
 Day 2: Drive to Mysore
Today's the day your trip begins in earnest! That too right after breakfast. As soon as you check out of the hotel, you drive to Mysore—and straight into the past! After Bangalore’s bustling ‘information age’ vibe, the ‘palace city’ of Mysore is the city to get a tranquil dose of history. Located to the southwest of Bangalore at the base of the Chamundi Hills, this vibrant city is known for its historic palaces and gardens, and its thriving sandalwood areas and rich silk. Once you reach and complete the formalities of checking into the hotel, the afternoon is yours to do as you please. If it’s sightseeing you’re after, then you have a busy time ahead of you! But high on the list of place to see here is the several-decades-old Devaraja Market area, which has retained its original grandeur. Among the most colourful markets in India, it is a photographer's delight. It is a must-visit place in Mysore to truly get a taste of the local flavour. An afternoon spent here should allow you to capture lifetime’s worth of memories. Overnight stay at Mysore.

If you felt that there is still a whole lot more about Mysore to discover, then you are absolutely right! Which is why post breakfast today, we take you on a sightseeing tour of the city. On the day’s agenda is a drive up to Chamundi Hills, a well-known 1,062-metre summit. A legend associated with this hill claims that this was the place where a powerful demon met his end at the hands of the formidable goddess. A temple paying homage to Her is on this hill. But there is another reason why you should climb this hill—the stunning unparalleled views form the top! You can see the entire city sprawled below you. Walking up has been made easy too, with a long stone staircase comprising 1008 steps to the top. On the way up, you encounter a massive monolith-- a 16-foot-high and 25-foot-long stone statue of the Nandi Bull, the vahana and loyal guard of Lord Shiva. It is a photo op you should definitely not miss. Then it's on to visit the Mysore maharaja’s Palace, built in the Indo-Sarasanic style with domes, arches and colonnades. For art lovers, and history lovers, the palace is a treasure house of exquisite carvings and works of art. After a full day of exploring, it's back to the hotel for the night.
